Automatic Redeployment

Automatic Redeployment in Pckgr ensures that your applications are seamlessly updated whenever there are changes to the manifest, such as updates to install or uninstall scripts. This feature is particularly useful when modifications arise from vendor changes or updates in the Winget repository, like alterations in the Winget ID or installer behavior.
In scenarios where customers encounter issues, our team collaborates closely with them to devise an effective solution. Should this require modifications to the package's underlying code, Automatic Redeployment plays a crucial role. This feature, enabled by default for all companies, acts as a proactive measure to guarantee that all active customers promptly receive necessary fixes. Think of Automatic Redeployment as a continuous delivery mechanism: it's akin to rolling out a hotfix rather than deploying an entirely new version, ensuring your applications remain up-to-date and function optimally.
Disabling Automatic Redeployments
If you would like to disable Automtic Redeployment, please navigate to the dashboard and select "My Companies". From here you can select a company from the dropdown menu and turn off the Auto Redeployments using the slider. You will still be notified when a redeployment becomes available.
When an application has a redeployment update available it will highlight in Orange and will be pending for redeploy.
